ID Medical Chosen as an NHS Master Vendor for Nurse Staffing
ID Medical, the UK’s leading multi-discipline healthcare recruiter, has been selected as NHS Master Vendor for the provision of Nursing & Care Services to The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust (SATH) and Shropshire Community Health NHS Trust.
The contracts, awarded on 28th May 2014, mean ID Medical will take responsibility for managing the Trusts’ agency staffing requirements for Registered Nurses (both general and critical), Theatre Staff, Registered Midwives and Health Care Support Workers, to ensure the continuity of patient-focused care services for the local hospitals and their communities.
Despite the difference between the two Trusts, SATH being a main acute provider, Shropshire Community Health NHS Trust a community-based provider, the primary focus of strengthening and improving the services and maintaining the traditional caring values of the NHS is shared between the two. Both Trusts are guided by the key principles of putting patients first and ensuring they have the right staff, with the right skills, in the right place, at the right time – the principles that ID Medical fully supports.
